Foster Dog May!

April 26, 2016 by Ashley Leave a Comment

May

May! May is a dog that I get updates on all of the time. She is a hound dog through and through. She is super sweet and she talks a lot. She is a total ham. She dazzled one of the other rescue volunteers at a meet and greet and they couldn’t say no to her sleepy, deep, soulful eyes. It was meant to be. She now has a really cool family that still fosters for the rescue. Instead of being the foster dog, May gets to show the foster puppies the ropes!

This is one of my favorite photos. May, Penny, and Molly all focused on one thing. Me with food. Oh, and Michael Scott in the background. Typical night. They are the cutest trio. This was one of the only times that they were all focused on the same thing. Yes, that is a shoe high heels homemade blanket. Thanks MOM! Its a dog favorite!

Foster Dog Hailee…Now Leto!

Hailee (Leto) We actually fostered Hailee twice. She was adopted by a family that we thought was a great fit. They were a couple with another dog that she got along with and they were great. She was with them a few months and she developed a lot of bad habits and I think they…

UPDATING THE KITCHEN LIGHTING

So here’s the deal with lighting. When the lighting is perfect even the most normal builder grade spaces look good. When the lighting is bad even the most perfect rooms look terrible. Lighting is a very important component to any space. A good balance of natural light, lighting levels and light colors can change a…

Today’s post is inspired by my mom. Love yas Mom! My mom has a cute little house in Florida. It has the same problem our house did when we moved in. Beige. Her house goes one step further. Builder beige. Everywhere. So she basically has a clean slate. Now what? This can be really daunting….
