BIRTHDAY!
It’s birthday week! I want a whole week this year. I am super excited about it. Usually I am not a really big birthday person but this is the first of hopefully many birthday blog posts that I will write. I am super stoked to be a year older. This year has taught me that you don’t know how many birthdays you have left. Not everyone gets the privilege of living to a ripe old age. I want to make sure to enjoy every birthday that I have.

Birthdays mean one more year of adventures and experiences, love, work, friends, family, successes… failures… taxes. Not everything can be good…It means one more year of trying to be your best person. That seems like a great reason to celebrate to me!
When my aunt passed away I inherited a bunch of old pictures of me that she had at her house. Looking back on them… WOW. Today I want to share the awkward photos with everyone!
Today I am letting my freak and nerd flag fly! These pics show some of the phases of my life and I am happy to have the reminder to enjoy where you are at that moment because you don’t know if you will get to take another picture next year. I am going to embrace the awkward photos and celebrate getting one year older! I hope that I can look back on this post next year and have another great awkward pic!
