INTRO TO MOLLY 102

July 17, 2016 by Ashley Leave a Comment

Mollys-Gotcha-Day
Molly, aka Molly Wobbles, found me. We were attached to each other spiritually from the moment we met. Ben, Penny and I were not looking for another family member. We were living in a small 1 bedroom apartment saving up to buy a house of our own. I was volunteering at an intake, where new dogs enter the rescue, and Molly and I met in the vetting room. She came in and it was like we were meant to be together. She was going home with a different foster family but I couldn’t keep her out of my head. It’s like she was telling me telepathically that she was supposed to be part of our family. We went on vacation and when I got back she was still available for adoption. I asked if I could foster her to see if she would get along with Penny.

She came to our house, invaded our hearts, and never left. A few days after she arrived Ben was making long term plans for the four of us so we knew it was meant to be.

Molly is also a mom like Penny and a very old soul. She has eyes that can see into you and is so intuitive that she knows when you have had a bad day and just how to fix it.

Molly-Folded-in-Half
Sometimes it seems like Molly doesn’t have any bones, she molds her body to yours to snuggle against you. She only has one toy that she has ever loved. It is her baaaabby. It’s a monkey that her original foster mom gave her and when she gets excited she grabs it from her bed and squeaks it super loud. That’s how we know she is serious about what she wants to do.

Molly-Front-Door-Watching
She is super fast and leads the bunny hunting expeditions in our yard. She hates wind and likes to launch sneak attacks to get to sleep in our bed at night.

BE A GOOD STEWARD TO YOUR HOUSE

This weekend we were at my Grandma’s house for Thanksgiving. While staying at her house and reminiscing about all of the memories our family has had over the years I started thinking about what a house means to me and how we can respect our homes while still making them work for us. We are…
