Foster Dog Sonia…Now Sophie!

April 26, 2016 by Ashley Leave a Comment

Sonia (Sophie)

Sonia, now Sophie, is a very special dog for me and Safe Hands. She is a dog that has had such an incredible journey. She crossed oceans to get here from South Korea. She was in a South Korean meat farm. It was a whole dog barbeque. You would have been able to buy her as meat. We worked with a sister rescue and she was brought to the US. She was with us for a few weeks and we fell in love. She found a great family whose dad was adopted from Korea as well. It was fate! She now has 2 sisters and a whole house of love! For more info on the South Korean dog meat farms check out our partner rescue on Facebook!
