Foster Dog Gabby…Now Penny!

April 26, 2016 by Ashley Leave a Comment

Gabby (Penny)

Gabby was a sweet, silly girl who is striking with two different color eyes. She was mostly poofy and she loves life. She was with us over Christmas and she got lots of new toys which she learned how to play with! Her new name is Penny, fitting with her fur color, and is adored by a couple that couldn’t believe we picked them as her family. I think she is just as lucky to have them as they are to have her. It is such a touching story and she has a piece of my heart forever.

INTRO TO PENNY 101

Penny crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 18, 2018. She is an incredible friend, daughter, and sister. We can never repay her for the unconditional love she shows us. It seems unbearable to have lost her. She is the OG of kids at the Vlasak Nilsson house and we will miss her forever. I am…

SANDING, REPAIRING, & PAINTING OUR KITCHEN CABINETS

Chocolate Milk. Yummy delicious chocolate milk. Also the color our cabinets were painted. Super good for a drink, not so good for kitchen cabinets. Besides being brown, the cabinets were painted with a flat paint that showed every fingerprint and we weren’t able to wipe them off easily. The hardware was rusting and paint was…

INCREASING CURB APPEAL WITH A FEW SMALL CHANGES

This past Christmas when we were putting up decorations I realized that our curb appeal was really sad. Really sad. So what does an Architect do? Take a pic of my house and start messing with it to see what might look better. Our house needs some help. We have only done minimal stuff so…
